The Jean Monnet Faculty is renowned for the quality of its teaching and dynamic research, articulated around three axes: new techniques and the associated legal and economic issues (including law concerning intangibles, economy and management of innovation, and developments in the field of contracts), globalisation (governance, European and international law, etc.),and individual rights (for example bioethics and medical ethics, genetics and human rights, human rights across the world, religion and individual rights).

The faculty buildings, located in Sceaux, on line B of the RER, are modern and spacious. There is also a large university library.
