Preventive medicine
Taking care of your health
Doctors, nurses and psychologists are here to listen, answer your questions and provide you with various information and advice on everything from health and hygiene to nutrition or contraception. They can also give you tips on how to manage your stress and fatigue when exams are approaching.
All you have to do is make an appointment with one of the University's general practitioners, nurses, psychologists or nutritionists. There are even smoking specialists for students who wish to give up smoking.
Medical Check-up
If you are a new student at the University, you need to have a medical examination. This medical check-up allows you:
· to be more aware of your general state of health.
· to establish a first contact with nurses and find out about the health services on offer for future reference.
Students with serious health problems or temporary disability may be able to have a specially adapted programme during their studies. Only the Preventive Medical Service can issue the required certificates (students are requested to make an appointment).
