Because of its exceptional environment, Paris-Sud University is able to maintain a close relationship with leading research organizations like CNRS, Inserm, Inria, Inra and CEA, and with the French Grandes Ecoles such as Polytechnique, Supélec and HEC.

The campus hosts major internationally renowned research infrastructures and technological skills which are at the forefront of knowledge: large petawatt lasers (ILE, ELI), petaflop computers (PRACE), brain imaging by ultra-powerful Magnetic Resonance (Neurospin), a particle accelerator (Soleil) and a neutron reactor (Orphee).
