International Relations Office
Organization and objectives of the International Relations Office (Direction des Relations Internationales)
Founded in 1984, the International Relations Office (the DRI) aims to improve cooperation at the university on a European and international level. In January 2004, it officially became known as the Direction des relations internationales and the president of the university at the time, Anita Bersellini, appointed the Vice-President to this sector, thereby strengthening the running of the international relations programme.
The objectives of the International Relations Office and major fields of development promoted by DRI are the following:
- to set up partnerships, study programmes and double diploma agreements with foreign universities
- to encourage and increase the mobility of students
- to promote the image of the University abroad to attract foreign students
- to improve the international dimension of research.
The Vice-President currently assists the International Relations Office that is composed of a assistant director, 3 project managers and 4 other members of staff. The DRI is also linked to each component of the University.
